Asset Import and Default Dashboard Configuration
Web App Release V4.11.3 | 30 June 2026
The V4.11.3 update introduces two focused enhancements designed to improve productivity and personalisation across the application.
With the new Asset Import functionality, users can import asset records in bulk using a standardised template, helping reduce manual data entry and speed up asset onboarding.
This release also introduces Default Dashboard Configuration, giving users the ability to choose which dashboard appears automatically when they log in.
Together, these updates make it easier to bring asset data into TEB and help users access the information most relevant to them faster.
Key features
Asset Import
Users can now import asset data into TEB using the new Asset Import functionality.
The import option is available to users with the correct permissions under both Asset Management and Company > Asset. Users can download the standard import template, populate it with the required asset information, and upload the completed file into the system.
This helps teams create asset records in bulk and reduces the time spent entering asset data manually.
Import Validation and Failed Record Alerts
During the import process, valid records are successfully created, while invalid records are automatically excluded.
If any records cannot be processed, the user receives an email notification with details of the failed records. This makes it easier to identify issues, correct the data, and re-import the affected records.
Default Dashboard Configuration
Users can now mark any dashboard as their default dashboard.
By selecting the star icon on a dashboard, users can choose the dashboard they want to see first. Once configured, the selected dashboard will automatically appear as the landing page whenever the user logs into the application.
This creates a more personalised experience and reduces the need for extra navigation, helping users access their most relevant insights more quickly.
Permissions and User Control
Asset Import is permission driven, ensuring only authorised users can perform bulk asset imports.
Default Dashboard Configuration gives users more control over their own workspace, allowing each user to tailor their login experience based on their role, priorities, or preferred view.
